Loved the old site and never thought there should be a change. This site goes down quicker then Mike Tyson against Buster Douglass. Whats up with that ?

I was wondering the same thing Stitch. It's a host thing for sure, but it does happen a lot. You can click the "live feed" (or something like that) and it does seem to help.

Yep same thing for me and sometimes clicking live feed works and sometimes it don't.

It's so that the Bots and Crawlers can compile and sort the information they have gathered on "Smithy" and decide which of it might be of interest to the FBI and Interpol.

The site is down for sometimes due to a SECURITY program that keeps the site protected and free from hackers & spammers. Its usually down only seconds at a time, and if you click the message that reads 'check for a live version of the site', it usually reloads. The reason is because attackers, hackers, etc, take a 'snapshot' of the site. They then start diagnosing and examining for flaws & weaknesses. By constantly refreshing the site, the security feature make the 'snapshot' that the hackers just took, useless. The, and makes them continually take new snapshots, this never catching up to the newest version. The drawback to this is, when it looks like the site is down, but it's worth it for the protection the site gets. Again, simply click the message that reads 'check for a live version of the site' and it should immediately refresh for you.
