Annette Funicello 1942-2013

For those who remember the 1950's and watched the "Mickey Mouse Club,"
it is sad news to learn of the passing of the most beloved Mouseketeer, Annette Funicello.

I remember Annette in the program debut. She was so adorable. Also, she was a
wonderful person in real life. She was known as "America's Sweetheart."

Those were the days we had people who we could look up. To me, at least, it seems like so many young "stars-starlets" of today are simply spoiled brats!

None of that applied to Annette. You will be missed!
