Just a little word to the wise. Do not start eating any cheese and Branston Pickle sandwiches unless you want to face the consequences. The dire straights you will find yourself in will be almost insurmountable. The addictive properties of this sandwich are very well known. And god forbid you start drinking some nice ale with your sandwich. Then getting hooked will be even quicker. I wish I had never ventured down this road but alas, I shall continue my journey down the road of shame. In fact I would have a sandwich now but for the fact that I haven't anymore darn pickle. Remember, you have been warned.

It also works well with corned beef sandwiches. ;)

I haven't had it on corned beef. Do you get the gray corned
beef or the red colored? We eat the gray up here. Lowell Provision
has corned spareribs. Cook them just like corned beef and cabbage.
I've never seen them outside of the Merrimack valley area of Mass.

Never had it myself but and a HUGE fan of strong flavors. I eat a sleeve of Ritz crackers with Marmite on them almost daily...Will have to start looking for this in some of the local stores.

Marmite never spoils they say. If you like that savory taste you will most assuredly like Branston Pickle. I have a jar of Marmite too.
