Living Colour - wasn't their singer the son of Danny Glover?

Trav, I have a video of my son singing Run to the Hills from when he was probably around 4 years old. I will see if I can find it...

Very cute. There's a cassette tape (somewhere) of me and my mate playing 'running free' when we were teenagers and had just got our first guitars. This was better lol. :D

This is impossible, of course.

But...looking back at my life, calculating what song I've probably listened to the most (voluntarily, that is), which I would still gladly listen to...I'd have to say...no, I don't know.

If I had to pick just the one, though, I suppose I could do worse than Gimme Shelter (Stones). If I landed at that desert island, found that Ipod and it had Gimme Shelter on it, I'd probably nod my head and say, yeah, that's about right.

Whilst his name is Glover, Corey is not Sgt. Murtaugh's son.

Ironically he has been chased by this rumour since he first appeared in Platoon, right around the time Living Colour started up as a band.

Gimme Shelter, one of my fave Stones songs!

Morf: A spin-off on your "One Song" idea: comes from a short story I read years ago.
You know how a song can stick in your head sometimes? Well, this musician decided to cull all the popular songs for their addictive elements. He fused a bit of this song to a bit of that, and so on. Finally, when he had all the elements blended together, he played the result. Unfortunately for him, his experiment proved too successful. His hybrid song not only stuck in his head, it crowded out all other thought so that all he could hear--all he could know--was that song, repeated endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly....

Running Free is one of the greatest Maiden songs ever! I love their first couple of albums. Hell, every album they have done is great.
