Blood moon tonight!

Normally I am on here talking to myself at this time of night, but for anyone still awake, don't forget about the blood moon tonight! Right now if you look, there is a giant white circle in the sky with the tiny little moon directly in the middle. Looks pretty cool. I'd get a picture, but my phone sucks!

It's supposed to be visible here in the U.S. in about 45 minutes.

I'm watching it now, the moon is visibly occluded, but unfortunately due to where I live, it's going to go down behind the trees before I can see much of anything, unless I move to higher ground or something.

(I could climb up on top of the house, but nah. It's not that damned important to me.)

That sucks. I'm at work so every ten minutes or so I run outside to check it out. The last one a few months back was pretty awesome. This one might not look as cool, it's pretty cloudy tonight.

I was waiting on it then I checked the interweb which informed me I was on the wrong side of the planet. Wouldn't be the first time. Still, it was a nice n big n bright moon. I went to use my digital SLR and the batteries needed recharged. I went to use my phone and the stoopid thing wouldn't focus through the window so in the end I did a grab from the security cam, which was naff.

More a case of here's the "bloody" moon!!" rather than here's the "blood" moon.

I missed this one, but saw the last blood moon we had, in April I think. It was beautiful! For anyone who missed seeing this one, there will be two more blood moons next year.

This one was pretty cool, but the last one was way better!

I wonder if there were any in 66,68 and 69 ?

it would have been eerie to have a photo of the Z sites with the blood moon in the shot or even with it low just on the horizon
