I heard from Trav last week as he sent a nice email. But, i feel he's pretty sick & when your diabetic, all sickness and problems are worst. He's having major issues with his eye, which can be quite serious. Praying he is better soon! His energy is missed.

WTH? How did I miss this?

I'm going to listen to my killers CD on the route today. I'll turn it up real loud.... maybe you'll hear it.

Get well, Trav, M8.

Starting to worry, about Trav. He signed on March 1st but we haven't heard anything since then. I have 2 emails from Feb. 21st. I sure hope his eye is mending and he's back with us soon. If anyone hears from him, please give Trav all our well wishes & let us know, also.

Update: Heard from Trav today. His eye's, are still very tired. He's waiting to hear back on his retina scan. When his eyes short circuit like this, it takes about a month to recover. His left eye is strained and the right one is going in that direction. Unfortunately he heals slow due to his diabetes. He's missing us & anxious to return.

Zam, thank you for the post. Isn't it amazing how attached we get to Internet friends. I was truly worried about Trav.

Will do.

I'm in the crazy dot's phase. In my vision that is. That should stop in the next week and it's already starting to improve. I'm coming out of the double 2d stage as I call it. My right eye gets it worst. First it won't focus as well as the left then when it's starting to remember how to it's like seeing in double 2d, if that makes sense. It's nearly 3d but not quite.

These I'm afraid are migraines for me now. Thankfully they only come every 5-10 years or so.

You get to spend an inordinate amount of time in your own head it has to be said. I don't like it lol. I need outside stimulii. It's too creepy in there, even for me.

My eyes are still a bit sore and my left is tired from picking up the slack so it's swings n roundabouts. Should start to see (bad pun) some improvement in the next week or so. It seems to take that long now with these things. I may pop in from time to time but I won't be diving back in until I'm fully operational. I wan't to read all the posts I've missed and make sure I'm taking the info on board rather than just skimming through.

Apologies for not keeping you all up to date on my progress but despite this having happened before it still scares me and it's not a linear recovery process. Some days you think it's improving then the next it's not or it's worse, or different. Can't remember if I said in an earlier post but it also fires up my neuropathy so my right hand and left foot lost feeling. Think I did mention that to someone at some point. It's improving slightly.

BTW. I can't remember, and am currently unable to check but I decided to have a squint through some stuff about a week ago and, can't remember why now, found myself looking for the clearer copy of the SLA card in the FBI files. Probably because I was intending to update it into my letters presentation (still got the degraded copy we're most familiar with). It's visible even in that copy but I only spotted it because I found the better copy and being half blind had to look through it in detail.

There's a double dot above the i in Editor on the first line. Actually that's why I was looking for it, not specifically for that but for something that made it more Z-like because it is the least likely looking one out of that '74 batch.

Being half blind has it's uses.

Laters ;)
