Thank you Guys and Gals.

I'm not entirely sure what happened but I should be ok in a week or so. This happened to me once before but it was obviously so traumatic that I'd almost erased it from my memory. It was a migraine but like a super one. I've had about 10 of them in my whole life and they suck. Still, always being a glass half full kind of person at least I don't seem to throw up anymore when I get them. Kinda handy being able to eat when you're diabetic. I nearly did the morning after it struck but that was it.

It might be a retinal migraine. Basically my right eye had a kinda of heartattack. So it's still not focusing properly yet although it is getting better. My right hand lost feeling. That's to do with my neuropathy and that happened as well the last time I had this otherwise I'd be thinking I'd had a stroke. It should improve as well. Oh and I lost feeling in my left foot this time, that was new but it's improved now.

My brain's still a bit scrambled but it's getting better. I couldn't have written this much a week ago. Scary stuff for sure.

Thanks for your lovely messages and I'll read them again properly when I can see. And catch up on the posts. Nearly every topic is red when I log on lol. :)

Trav I've never heard of someone having a migraine for as long as you have had yours. But then I am not as schooled on your type of diabetes as you are, I'm sure. I do hope you get your eyes checked properly by a good eye doctor to make sure you are not suffering from some type of angle closure glaucoma.

My sympathies.

Thanks Deb.

Yeah I would be freaking out if I hadn't had my eyes checked recently and as luck would have it I have an eye clinic appt in a few weeks where they dilate the pupils and check the eyes with lasers. Obviously something isn't right but it will recover and I guess it's one of those times were I'm gonna have to think about taking better care of myself.

I'm gonna google that thing you thing mentioned just to freak myself out lol.

EDIT: Nah it's not that. That sounds like something you would notice over time. Whatever I have just happens with and or causes a migraine. The increased neuropathy in the limbs wouldn't be caused by an eye problem alone. I'm too smart and sometimes my brain needs to reset so people don't notice lol. :D

Took me a while to get my head around "Ack!". I get it now lol. An expression of disappointment/concern. It's actually quite an Irish sentiment but as my head is/was temporarily melted it confused me at first. I get it now. Must be getting better :) Thank you my friend.
