Tried to post a pic yesterday but my iphone didn't cooperate. 10 inches of snow still mostly hanging on the trees here, waiting for another 3-6 then ice tonight. I will consider it absolutely beautiful right up until the time I lose power tonight. Unfortunately, our big snow on the weekend seems to be fading. :-(

Unfortunately, our chance for snow this weekend is getting bigger, as in Nor-Easter,as in 24-30" :(

Actually not as of today, morf. I would LOVE to see a winter have a final blast but the weekend threat has faded a bit. BOO...

I'm not sure my kids have had a full week of school since the beginning of December.

That sucks. I live west of you near Hershey PA. It's been a rough winter this year.

I follow Severe Weather NJ on Facebook, and he is very good. When a storm is coming that is a major storm, he uses the phrase, 'KABOOM'. He is now saying KABOOM for NJ

Hang in there Morf! At least you know it's coming and can prepare. Living where I do, it is a given we will (usually) get hammered so we are used to it...hence, needing a lot of snow to shut us down.

I can imagine little snow in a big city would be quite difficult to deal with and can see why 2" to some would be like 2' to others.

I hear ya man and we been getting about 3 to 4 inches here in PA daily and if I didn't join the gym to relive the stress think I would have lost my mind. On a bright side with joining the gym and all this snow I been shoveling I will be in great shape come spring.

We've had one of the mildest Winters ever..perhaps as mild as 1988/89 or 74/75. There has hardly been any frost let alone snow.
