Agreed.
I mentioned to a buddy once how I was into this case, and he asked me why would I care when the maniac is probably dead or so old, there would be no point in convicting him anyway. But I don't see it like that. Even if Z is dead, identifying him would bring some closure to the victims' families. And as time goes on, and we get access to more FBI files, it might be the Z hunters on the web tgat finally piece it all together.
