A generic cold case TV series may spark renewed interest in Zodiac's rampage. What is needed is follow-through built on that interest (presuming it materializes). Perhaps Morf or T.V. could seize the opportunity to:
1. Inform the public that there are groups of serious amateurs who are actively working to solve the Zodiac murders; and,
2. Apply pressure to LE, particularly the laggards in S.F., and the ostriches in Riverside, to dust off their files and give young eyes a look at America's premier serial murders.

True Detective was pretty good, I like the plot, the cast(2 of my favorite actors),the atmosphere, etc. Anybody else catch it?

Reminds me of a mixture of The Wire and No Country for old men. Great first episode. HBO always makes really fantastic television. So happy to see two people from The Wire in this show as well.

A powerful combination, those two, with a

twist. ("Mm. Very... interesting,")
My eyes were wide with amazement, as I was slowly sinking into my chair.

Did anybody watch the entire season? While slow at times, it was a good season, and really good finale. Looking forward to the new season and cast

I saw the whole season and I kind of thought it sucked.
Although HBO has made some great original shows, The Sopranos, Deadwood, Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones, etc., etc.. This "True Detective" show just didn't work for me.
I mean, it started out well, the acting and filming and writing were all great. But the plot sucked, IMO. If the story doesn't pull me in - and it didn't - none of the rest really matters.
Just my opinion, since you asked.
