Anthrax is an awesome band tht has been around for over 30 years.

I could have sworn that Anthrax was in some movie, but I cannot remember it.

It was so awesome in the 80's and nineities how if a movie needed a scene in a club or something with a band performing in the background, they would just hire an actual mildly famous band. Off the top of my head probably the funniest one is how he goes to a Cannibal Corpse show in Ace Ventura Pet Detective.

Saw it on the big screen in the early 80s, glurk - at a rock movies all-nighter. Liked the band a bit, as a teen in the 70s... but that movie is a real turkey.

Anthrax was in an episode of married with children. Jim Carrey personally requested Cannibal to be in Ace Ventura, which was awesome! They were also going to be in Airheads, but the director ended up going with White Zombie instead, which was still really cool. Jim Martin of Faith No More was in one of the Bill and Ted movies. My favorite rock/metal guy in movies is Henry Rollins.

Bile was in Strangeland. They are a cool industrial metal band. Dee Snider of Twisted Sister wrote and starred in that movie. The TV version of Ace Venture had Jim Carrey throwing down some guttural vocals.

That's cool that you knew all those cameos. GWAR had a cameo in Empire Records. There was that movie that had Henry Rollins and Anthony Keidis. I think it was a charlie sheen movie? I don't remember if Flea was in it. But he was in a bunch of stuff. The band the Circle Jerks performed in the punk rock classic Repo Man. and even though they didn't play it, the song that the band played at the end of Air Headz was by the 80's punk band Reagan Youth.

Flea has been in a bunch of movies. The one you are thinking of is called The Chase. Keidis was also in Point Break with Gary Busey, Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze. I love Repo Man!! Such a great soundtrack. Forgot about Lemmy in the movie Airheads, that was a good one. Infectious Grooves (featuring members of Suicidal Tendencies) was in the movie Encino Man. Word is that they got paid double for having to put up with that d-bag Pauly Shore and his stupid weasel noises. Alice Cooper, of course, was in Wayne's World. Alice in Chains was in a movie called Singles. Primus was in Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey. The Offspring performed "I Wanna Be Sedated (Ramones cover)” and “Beheaded” in the movie Idle Hands. I hate the Offspring. Actually, "Beheaded" is the only song I like by them. Helmet was in The Jerky Boys movie (doing a badass Black Sabbath cover). L7 was in the movie Serial Mom. I want to say Napalm Death was in a movie, but I can't remember now. Dave Brockie (Oderus Urungus - RIP) of GWAR has been in a few movies and was in a TV show called Holliston. Frank Mullen of the band Suffocation has been in a few horror flicks.

Reagan Youth kicks ass! I really liked the "Lone Rangers" version of the song.

The guy from Anthrax is Scott Ian. He and Anthrax drummer, Charlie Benante, are also in a really cool side band they formed in the mid-80's called S.O.D. (Stormtroopers of Death).

Guns N Roses also made cameos in Clint Eastwood's the Dead Pool.

RE; Alice In Chains-in Singles, I love that movie, haven't watched it in a few years.

Re:Alice Cooper, he was also in Johnny Depp's Dark Shadows.
